2. Open to Public
Vote to open the meeting to the public.
Vote to schedule a Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 15th to solicit citizen input on a proposed municipal ordinance regarding the retention of excess tax payments less than five dollars.
Vote to accept the Mayor’s re-appointment of Dr. Mario D’Angelo as a Commissioner for the Torrington Housing Authority for a five-year term expiring September 1, 2021.
5. Litchfield Hills Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan
Vote to approve a resolution adopting the Litchfield Hills Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan.
Vote to adopt a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into and sign contracts with the Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection regarding the 2015 Recreation Trails Grant, previously approved by Council on March 7, 2016, for the design and construction of
approximately 2.6 miles of the Naugatuck River Greenway from Franklin Street to Bogue Road.
Vote to accept the Building Dept. Report for June 2016.
Vote to approve payment of $382.50 to Eagle Fence & Guardrail of Plainville, CT for Invoice #38881 dated 5/19/2016 for work completed on the THS Athletic Fields Project.

a) Vote to accept the recommendation of the Small Cities Committee regarding Project #143-390 and change orders for Projects
